So, I’ve been driving my pickup truck for a while now, and let me tell you, the sun can be a real pain, especially during those long drives. I decided it was time to get some sun visors to make my life a bit easier.
First, I started looking around online. Checked out a bunch of different places that sell auto parts. There were so many options, it was kind of overwhelming. I saw some polarized ones from JOYTUTUS for like 15 bucks, and some anti-glare ones for even cheaper. There were also these fancy foldable ones, but I wasn’t sure if I needed anything that complicated.
I figured I needed something that would fit my truck perfectly. I didn’t want to deal with some universal thing that might not work right. So I kept looking for ones that were specifically made for trucks like mine.
- I looked at some OEM sun visors which were guaranteed to fit but they were quite expensive.
- Then, I checked out some made by Keystone Restyling, which looked pretty stylish, but I wasn’t sure if they were just for looks or if they’d actually work well.
- Found some custom-fit ones at AutoZone, but they didn’t have my favorite color.
After a lot of searching, I finally found some sun visors that seemed like a good fit. They were made of this stuff called Medium Density Fiberboard. Apparently, it’s made of wood fibers and wax, which sounds kind of weird, but they looked pretty sturdy.
I ordered them online, and when they arrived, I was pretty excited to put them in. It wasn’t too hard, just a few screws, and they fit perfectly. Now, when I’m driving, I don’t have to squint my eyes or try to block the sun with my hand. It’s so much more comfortable, especially when I’m driving for a long time. These visors block out the glare, and they even help keep the inside of my truck a bit cooler.
Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t get these sooner. They’ve made such a big difference. If you’re driving a pickup and you’re tired of dealing with the sun, I definitely recommend getting some good sun visors. It’s a small change, but it makes driving so much more enjoyable.
It also protects my face when I forget to apply sunscreen at least 15 minutes before going out. These visors are like a cheat code and I like them very much.
