Okay, so a few weeks ago, I started looking into sprucing up my motorcycle helmet. I’ve had the same old helmet for a couple of years, and it was starting to feel a bit, well, boring. I figured, why not add some cool accessories to make it look better and maybe even improve its functionality?

First thing I did
I jumped online and started browsing through different online shops, you know, the usual suspects. I was specifically looking for things like visors, shields, and maybe some stickers to give it a personal touch. I also stumbled upon some helmet liners and pads, which got me thinking about making my helmet more comfortable, especially for those longer rides.
Then, I got a bit more serious
- Helmet Quick Release Buckle Kit: This was a game-changer. I found this stainless steel ratcheted helmet adapter for the chin strap. It’s supposed to be compatible with most helmets, and let me tell you, it makes taking the helmet on and off so much easier.
- Communication Systems: I saw these too, but I wasn’t too sure about them at first. I mean, talking while riding? But then I thought about how useful it could be for staying connected with my buddies during group rides.
Next step, hunting for deals
I’m all about getting the best bang for my buck. I started comparing prices across different websites. And guess what? I found some products being sold at less than 50 percent of their usual price! There were even some offers going on, bringing the prices down even further. I felt like a kid in a candy store, not gonna lie.
I learned about this German brand, SCHUBERTH
They’ve apparently been making protective helmets since the 1940s. That’s like, over 70 years of experience! It made me feel more confident about considering their products. They had a wide range of helmet accessories too, which was a plus.
Finally, I made my picks
After days of browsing and comparing, I finally decided on a few accessories. I got myself a new tinted visor, which not only looks cool but also helps with the glare on sunny days. I also got those helmet pads for added comfort and that quick-release buckle kit. I’m still on the fence about the communication system, but I might just go for it later.
So, that’s my little adventure into the world of motorcycle helmet accessories. It was a fun process, and I learned a lot along the way. Now, my helmet looks way cooler, and it’s definitely more comfortable. I’m excited to hit the road and show it off!
