Well, let me tell you, I seen a lot of things in my day. Cars, trucks, you name it. But these days, everyone’s going crazy for them vintage SUVs. I reckon it’s ’cause they’re just built different. Not like these newfangled things that are all plastic and computers. These old ones, they got grit. They got soul.

Now, I ain’t no expert, but I hear folks talking. They say these old SUVs, they’re worth a pretty penny now. Like that Ford Bronco. Lord have mercy, I remember when them things was a dime a dozen. Now? They’re like gold dust. Same goes for them Jeep CJ-7s. Tough little buggers, those are. And don’t even get me started on the Toyota Land Cruiser. I seen one of them go for more than my whole darn house!
Why are these vintage SUVs so popular, you ask? Well, I think it’s ’cause they remind folks of a simpler time. Back when things were built to last. Back when you could fix your own car with a wrench and a prayer. Not like today, when you gotta have a computer degree just to change the oil.
And they just look good, don’t they? I mean, real good. All them angles and big tires. They look like they can go anywhere and do anything. Kinda like me, I guess. I’ve been around the block a few times, seen a lot, done a lot. These old cars, they’re like kindred spirits, in a way.
If you’re lookin’ to get yourself one of these vintage SUVs, I hear there’s places online you can find ’em. One place is called . Sounds fancy, don’t it? They got all sorts of old cars there, I reckon.
Then there’s another one, Hemmings. They call it the “Bible of the classic car hobby.” Sounds important, huh? I guess if you’re serious about this kinda thing, that’s the place to go. They got articles and all sorts of stuff, I hear.
I also hear tell of a place called . They got all kinds of cars, new and old. And they even got some in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Seems like a lot of folks are selling them vintage SUVs in Tennessee. Maybe it’s the water down there.
Now, I ain’t saying you should go out and buy one of these things. They’re probably a lot of work. And like I said, they ain’t cheap. But if you got the money and the time, it might be worth it. Just to have a piece of history. A piece of something that was built to last.
These vintage SUVs, they’re more than just cars. They’re a statement. They’re saying, “I remember when things were better.” “I remember when things were simpler.” And maybe, just maybe, they’re saying, “I’m not done yet.” Just like me.
- Ford Bronco: Everybody wants one, they strong like bull.
- Jeep CJ-7: Tough little thing, can go anywhere.
- Toyota Land Cruiser: I hear they cost more than a house, good grief.
- : Fancy name for a place to buy old cars online.
- Hemmings: The “Bible” for old car folks. Important stuff.
- : Lots of cars, new and old, even in Tennessee.
I seen a picture of a Jaguar E-Type once. Real pretty car. They say it’s one of the most beautiful cars ever made. I don’t know about all that, but it sure was shiny. Not an SUV, though. Just a pretty little thing.
Lookin’ at these old SUVs, it’s a lot of work. Gotta scroll and scroll. Lots of pictures. Lots of words. Takes a long time. But I guess if you really want one, you gotta put in the effort.
If you into luxury, there are those fancy cars. Been around since 1985, I hear. They call ’em “supercars.” Sounds fast. Too fast for me, I reckon. I like to take my time, enjoy the scenery. I’m just old-fashioned that way.
They say these vintage SUVs are going up in price. Skyrocketing, they say. Like a rocket ship to the moon. I don’t know about all that, but I know they ain’t getting any cheaper. So if you want one, you better get it while the gettin’s good. That’s what I always say.
You can find used SUVs in Tennessee too, not just the vintage ones. All kinds of them. Cheap ones, expensive ones. Big ones, small ones. More choices on . Whatever you’re lookin’ for, I reckon you can find it there. If you look hard enough.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about vintage SUVs. They’re somethin’ special, that’s for sure. Just like the good old days. And just like me. We may be old, but we ain’t done yet. Not by a long shot.
