Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here 2024 GMC Yukon Denali 3.0L Diesel SUV. It’s a big ol’ car, you know, like them fancy ones you see drivin’ around town. Not like my old beat-up truck, that’s for sure!
First off, they say it’s a “luxury” SUV. Luxury, huh? Means it’s got all the bells and whistles, I reckon. Fancy seats, probably leather, not like that cloth stuff in my truck that gets all sticky in the summer. And it’s got that big screen inside, for maps and stuff. My grandson showed me one time, all these fancy buttons and things. Confusin’ if you ask me, but I guess some folks like that kinda thing.
Now, this here Yukon, it’s got a diesel engine, a 3.0L they call it. Don’t know much about that, but they say it’s good on gas. Well, as good as a big ol’ thing like this can be, I suppose. My truck, she drinks gas like a thirsty cow, so maybe this Yukon ain’t so bad. They were talkin’ about some other Yukon, not diesel, that gets maybe 16 miles in the city and 20 on the highway. That ain’t bad for a big fella like this.
- Engine: 3.0L Diesel – Sounds fancy, hope it lasts longer than my old mower.
- Seats: Probably leather – Not like my old sticky cloth ones.
- Screen: Big fancy one for maps and stuff – My grandson likes those things.
- Gas Mileage: They say it’s good for a big car – We’ll see about that.
They were talkin’ about safety too. Said it’s got somethin’ called “Automatic Emergency Brakin’.” Sounds like it stops itself if you’re about to hit somethin’. That’s good, I guess, especially for them city folks who are always in a hurry. And it’s got somethin’ about keepin’ you in your lane. My old truck wanders sometimes, especially when the wind’s blowin’, so maybe that’s a good thing too. This thing’s got somethin’ called lane departure warning, forward collision alert, blind zone alert, they think of everything these days!
And then there’s the “Denali” part. That just means it’s the fanciest one, I hear. Like the top shelf at the store, you know? The best of the best. Probably got all the extras, like that wood trim inside. My old truck’s got wood trim too, but it’s mostly splinters and duct tape. This Denali, though, this one is an ‘ultimate’, the best of the best they say.
Now, they’re always comin’ out with new models, ain’t they? Heard tell they got a 2025 Yukon comin’ out, with an even bigger screen. Can you believe it? Bigger than the one in this 2024? Where they gonna put it, on the roof? This year’s model has a 10.2 inch screen and next year they are gonna give you a 16.8 inch, go figure! I swear, these city folk and their gadgets. But I guess that’s progress, they call it. They have all kinds of fancy safety stuff too, I hear tell they call it GMC Pro Safety Plus.
They were talkin’ about some deals too, holiday bonus event they called it. Always tryin’ to get you to buy somethin’, these car folks. But if you got the money, and you need a big ol’ car to haul your stuff around, I guess this Yukon wouldn’t be so bad. Plenty of room for the grandkids and all their gear. And maybe it’ll impress the neighbors too, not that I care much about that. My old truck still gets me where I need to go, but this Yukon, well, it’s a whole different animal, that’s for sure. They even have these Chevy SUV’s too, all kinds of deals they are givin’.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a big, fancy SUV with a diesel engine, this 2024 GMC Yukon Denali 3.0L Diesel SUV might just be the ticket. Just be prepared to pay for it, ’cause I bet it ain’t cheap. And remember, you can also consider chevy SUV, they are really safe and the new models look really good too, they say they have lots of safety options in them as well.
But hey, what do I know? I’m just an old woman who drives a beat-up truck. But even I can see that this Yukon is somethin’ special. Whether it’s worth all that money, well, that’s for you to decide. But it sure is a looker, I’ll give it that.
