Okay, so I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, and today I finally got around to it. I wanted to mess around with coloring pages, specifically sports car ones. I’ve always loved the sleek lines of a good sports car, and I figured it would be a fun, relaxing activity.

First, I gathered my supplies. Nothing fancy, just some colored pencils I had lying around and a few printed-out sports car designs I found online. I made sure to pick a few different car models, some with more intricate details and some simpler ones, just to have some variety.
Getting Started
- I picked out a relatively simple design to start with – a classic, curvy sports car. I didn’t want to get overwhelmed right off the bat.
- I decided a bright, bold red for the body. Seemed like the quintessential sports car color, you know?
- I started coloring in the large areas first, the body panels and the roof. I tried to keep my strokes going in the same direction, to give it a smoother look.
Then, I moved on to the smaller details. The tires, of course, were black. I used a dark gray for the rims, trying to give them a bit of a metallic sheen. The windows got a light blue tint, and I used a silver pencil for the headlights and any chrome accents.
Experimenting
After the first one, I felt a bit more confident. I picked a more complicated design, a car with lots of vents and spoilers. This time, I wanted to try something different with the color. I went with a deep, metallic blue. It took a bit longer, because of all the little details, but it was worth it. The blue looked really cool, especially with the silver accents I added later.
My Final Takeaway
It’s so fun coloring! It took a couple of hours all told, but I was really happy. It was a great way to unwind and just focus on something simple and creative. The coloring page looked pretty neat, too, if I do say so myself. I might even frame them and put on my wall. Definite I will do it again.
