Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with “Farming Simulator 22” lately, specifically, I’ve been trying to pimp my ride, if you catch my drift. I’m talking about modding the pickup trucks. Yeah, the base game is cool and all, but who doesn’t want to roll around their farm in a souped-up truck?
So, first, I went on this journey to find some decent mods. There’s the official “Farming Simulator” website, but I wanted more. And let me tell you, I stumbled upon a goldmine. There’s this user, TooBad46, seems like a nice guy. He’s got this sick collection of pickup truck mods. I’m not just talking about a fresh coat of paint; I found this EXP22 2020 Dodge Ram mod that’s just beautiful. I decided to give it a shot, so, naturally, I followed him to keep up with his work and to see what he might cook up next.
I started digging around for more info, and it turns out these trucks are not just for show. I mean, in the game, they are some of the most powerful vehicles you can get. I found mods for all kinds of trucks, big ones, small ones, even ones made just for the forest. Seriously, the variety is insane. Also, I saw some talk about Ford Super Duty and Ram HD series, but I haven’t got my hands on those yet.
Then I tried to install these mods. Now, I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but it wasn’t rocket science. Downloaded the files, and put them in the right folder. And boom, I’ve got a brand-new Dodge Ram in my game. I saw that there are also many mods for those who play on PS4, PS5, or Xbox, but I am playing on PC so I didn’t really need those.
Now, I’m rolling around my farm, and let me tell you, it feels good. I’ve been hauling stuff, doing all the farm chores, but now I’m doing it in style. And the best part? These mods are updated all the time. There are new trucks coming out all the time, so you can always find something new to play with. I’ve been playing the game for a while, focusing on planting and harvesting, using mid to high range equipment that helps me save time, I might share more about that later. But man, driving around in my new truck is just a blast.
