Okay, so I wanted to do something fun with my kids last weekend, and I remembered how much I loved coloring when I was a kid. My son is totally obsessed with sports cars right now, so I thought, “Why not combine the two?”

Finding the Perfect Pages
First, I grabbed my laptop and started searching for “sports car coloring pages.” I found tons of options, some simple, some super detailed. I wanted a good mix, so I picked out a few that I thought my kids would like, and one with a really sleek-looking car for me.
Printing and Prep
Next, I made sure my printer had enough ink and paper. Nothing worse than getting halfway through and running out! I printed out the coloring pages, making sure to choose the “fit to page” option so they wouldn’t get cut off.
Coloring Time!
- I laid out all the pages on the table.
- Then, I grabbed our big box of crayons, colored pencils, and markers. We always have a little “art supply” bin,so everything easy to find.
- My kids dove right in. My son immediately went for the bright red crayon to color a Ferrari. My daughter opted for a sparkly purple marker for a Lamborghini.
My Turn
While they were busy, I started working on my own page. I really took my time, carefully shading the car to make it look almost 3D. It was super relaxing, and, I gotta say that I did better than I thought.
The Final Result
After about an hour, we were all finished. We hung up our masterpieces on the fridge. It was a simple activity, but we all had so much fun. It was awesome to do something creative together, and it really brought back some good memories for me. Plus, the kids now have some cool sports car art to show off!
