Alright, let’s talk about them Indian Motorcycle clothes, you know, the stuff you wear when you’re ridin’ them big bikes. I ain’t no expert, but I seen a thing or two, and I know what folks like.
First off, you gotta have a good jacket. Not just any jacket, mind you. A real tough one. Somethin’ that’ll keep the wind off ya and maybe save your skin if you take a tumble. They got these leather ones, real heavy-duty, like what the cowboys wear, but with that Indian Motorcycle look. You know, the feathers and all that. Or maybe you want somethin’ lighter, for when it ain’t so cold. They got them too. Just make sure it fits good, not too tight, not too loose. You gotta be able to move around on that bike, right?
And then there’s the shirts. Lots of folks like them t-shirts with the Indian Motorcycle logo on ’em. Big ol’ Indian head, right there on your chest. Nothin’ fancy, just good, plain shirts. They got long sleeves too, for when it’s a bit chilly. And them baseball shirts, the ones with the different colored sleeves? Seen a bunch of folks wearin’ those. Comfy, I reckon.
- Jackets: Gotta be tough, leather or somethin’ strong. Keep ya warm and safe.
- Shirts: T-shirts, long sleeves, baseball shirts, whatever you like. Gotta have that Indian logo though.
- Pants: Jeans are good, somethin’ sturdy. Maybe leather if you’re fancy.
- Hats: Keep the sun outta your eyes, or the rain off your head. And look cool, of course.
- Gloves: Gotta protect your hands, and keep ’em warm too. Leather again, I’d say.
Now, about them pants. Well, jeans are always a good bet. Tough, you know? Can’t go wrong with a good pair of jeans. But some folks, they like them leather pants too. I guess if you’re goin’ for that full biker look, that’s the way to go. Just make sure they ain’t too tight, or you won’t be able to bend your knees when you’re ridin’. And them patches, them Indian Warbonnet Patches, folks iron them on to their jackets and pants. Makes ’em look real nice, I think.
Don’t forget about your head! You gotta wear a helmet, that’s the law. But you can get a fancy one, with the Indian Motorcycle colors and all. And a hat, for when you ain’t wearin’ the helmet. Keeps the sun outta your eyes, or the rain off your head. And they got them bandanas too, you know, to tie around your head or your neck. Keeps the sweat outta your eyes, and looks kinda cool too, I guess.
And your hands, gotta protect them hands. Get yourself some good gloves. Leather again, I’d say. Gotta be able to grip them handlebars, right? And if you fall, them gloves will help keep your hands from gettin’ all scraped up.
They sell all this stuff online, you know. Places like Amazon, they got it all. Just type in “Indian Motorcycle apparel” and you’ll see. Or go to the Indian Motorcycle website. They got all the official gear there. But it can be pricey, mind you. Some of that stuff costs a pretty penny. But if you want the real deal, that’s where you gotta go. Or you can find some cheaper stuff at them biker rallies and swap meets. Sometimes you can get a good deal there.
But listen, the most important thing ain’t how fancy your clothes are, it’s how safe you are. Always wear your helmet, always wear protective gear. ‘Cause ridin’ them motorcycles, it ain’t no joke. You gotta be careful out there. I seen too many folks get hurt, and it ain’t pretty.
Now, about them prices. Like I said, some of it’s expensive, some of it ain’t. You can get a t-shirt for, I don’t know, twenty bucks maybe? But a good leather jacket, that’ll cost you a few hundred, easy. And them helmets, they ain’t cheap neither. But you get what you pay for, I reckon. You want somethin’ that’s gonna last, you gotta spend a little more. They got different colors too, black, brown, white, whatever you like. Just make sure it fits and it’s comfortable. ‘Cause if you ain’t comfortable, you ain’t gonna enjoy your ride.
And one last thing, if you need help finding something, or figuring out what size you need, just ask somebody. Don’t be shy. Most folks are happy to help. Or read them reviews online. See what other folks are sayin’. That’s always a good way to figure out if somethin’s worth buyin’. And remember, stay safe out there on the road!
