Now, from what I gather, these folks down at Owen Motor Sports, they got a whole heap of stuff. They ain’t just sellin’ cars, no sir. They got them…what-cha-ma-call-its… them motorcycles, them four-wheelers, them things you ride in the dirt. Yeah, that’s it, “powersports” they call ’em.
- New Stuff: They got brand spankin’ new rides. Shiny and purdy, just waitin’ for someone to take ’em home. If you got the money, that is. These things ain’t cheap, I tell ya.
- Used Stuff: If you ain’t got a whole pile of cash, they got used stuff too. Not as shiny, maybe a little dusty, but they’ll get ya where you need to go. And they’re cheaper, which is good for folks like me.
Where You Gonna Find These Owen Folks?
Now, they ain’t just in one place. They got a couple of spots, see? One’s in Charleston, Illinois. That’s in the “Land of Lincoln,” they say. Honest Abe’s place, you know. The other one’s in Effingham, Illinois. They call that the “Crossroads of America.” Sounds fancy, don’t it?
What Kinda Names They Got on Them Machines?
Well, they got all sorts of names. I heard tell of Kawasaki. Sounds Japanese, don’t it? Then there’s Yamaha. Another one of them foreign names. They make all sorts of things, them motorcycles and them…side-by-sides, I think they called ’em. Like a golf cart, but bigger and faster, I reckon.
What Else They Got?
Besides sellin’ ya somethin’ to ride, they also fix ’em. That’s right, they got a service department. So if your whatchamacallit breaks down, they can fix it up for ya. And if you need parts, they got them too. Parts, service, and financing, that’s what I heard. Financing, that’s when you pay a little bit at a time. Like layaway, but you get to take the thing home right away.
Are They Any Good?
Well, I ain’t bought nothin’ from ’em myself, but I heard they got some of the “lowest prices in the USA.” That’s what they say, anyways. And they seem like decent folks. They been around for a while, so they must be doin’ somethin’ right. They say they’re all about havin’ fun. “Your FUN Starts HERE,” that’s their motto, or somethin’ like that.
So, What’s the Bottom Line?
If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ with wheels, somethin’ to ride around on, then Owen Motor Sports might be worth a look-see. They got new stuff, used stuff, they fix stuff, and they let you pay for it a little bit at a time. Can’t hurt to check ’em out, I reckon.
