Recently, I’ve been diving deep into the world of electric vehicles. Today, I want to talk about my journey checking out the Lincoln EV SUV.

First off, I got wind of this new luxury crossover SUV that Lincoln’s gonna launch in 2025. Heard it’s gonna be priced under $100, which is pretty sweet for a luxury EV. This got me really curious, so I started digging around.
I started my research online, just to see what the buzz was about. Turns out, the 2025 Lincoln Aviator is getting some attention, and the Star Concept SUV gives us a peek into Lincoln’s electric future. It’s cool and all, but it’s missing a key new feature that I heard about.
Then, I figured, why not check out Lincoln’s current lineup? They’ve got some hybrid electric vehicles, which is a good start. Did you know that hybrids are getting popular for Lincoln? It’s like they’re testing the waters before going all-electric.
I also checked out some reviews, especially about the reliability of Lincoln vehicles. Found out some interesting stats from a J.D. Power and Associates’ study. They say Toyota is a bit better in initial quality compared to Lincoln. It’s just stats, but it gets you thinking, right?
After all that, I decided to visit a Lincoln dealership. I wanted to see their SUVs up close. I checked out the Nautilus, which is smaller and more affordable, and the Aviator, which has more seating. Nice cars, but they weren’t exactly what I was looking for.
While there, I got chatting with one of the sales guys about the upcoming EV SUV. He didn’t have all the details, but he mentioned that the new Nautilus doesn’t have a V6 engine anymore. They’re really pushing the hybrids.
My Thoughts
- Excitement for the Future: I’m really stoked about Lincoln’s move into the EV market. It’s a big step, and I’m curious to see how they’ll stand out.
- Current Lineup: Their current lineup is decent. The Nautilus and Aviator are solid, but I’m holding out for that full-electric experience.
- Reliability Concerns: The reliability reports gave me a bit of pause, but I’m hoping Lincoln steps up its game with the new EV.
So, that’s my little adventure with the Lincoln EV SUV. It wasn’t a test drive of the actual model, since it’s not out yet. But, it was a deep dive into what Lincoln is up to and what we can expect. I’m definitely keeping an eye on this one. Can’t wait to see the real deal hit the roads!
