Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about the Land Rover 3-row SUVs lately. I’ve always been a fan of the brand, but I wasn’t sure if a 3-row version was right for me. I needed to do some digging!

My Research Process
First, I spent some time just browsing online, I really hit all the major car review sites. I wanted to get a general feel for the different models available.
It got a little confusing, they have so many options! I mainly focused on the Discovery and the Defender 130, because, they seemed to be the main ones with that third row I was looking for.
Then, I started digging into specific features. Things like cargo space – I needed to be able to fit my kids gears. Legroom in that third row was also a big one, I did not want them squished back there!
- I read tons of reviews.
- I watched a bunch of YouTube videos, walk-arounds, and test drives.
- I even checked out some owner forums to see what real people were saying, long-term.
Honestly the forum part got to be most helpful part, the reviews are one thing, but seeing normal people sharing their experiences was better.
Getting Down to Brass Tacks
After all that online stuff, I finally decided to go to a dealership. I really wanted to sit in the cars, I needed to see the space for myself.
I checked out the back, fold the seats down, fiddled with all the controls – you know, the whole nine yards. The sales guy was pretty helpful, too, he gave me answers to some questions that I couldn’t find online.
Making the Decision
It was a hard one. Both the Discovery and the Defender 130 are awesome. But, after all that research and testing, I finally figured out which one was the best fit for my family and me. It’s all about what you actually need, you know?
So that was my little adventure in exploring the world of Land Rover 3-row SUVs. Hopefully, my experience can help someone else out there!
