Alright, let’s talk about them Honda cars, the ones with the extra seats in the back, you know, for all the grandkids and such. I ain’t no expert, but I know what I see and what folks around here like.

First off, there’s this Honda Pilot. Now, that’s a big fella, like a real workhorse. They say it can haul a whole bunch of people, seven or eight, depending on which one you get. That’s good for big families, you know, like the Joneses down the road, they got kids everywhere! The Pilot, it’s got a strong motor, a V-6 they call it, and you can get it with all four wheels driving, which is handy if you live out in the sticks like some folks I know.
- Seats seven or eight people
- Strong V-6 engine
- Can tow a lot, they say 5,000 pounds!
Then there’s this other one, the Honda Odyssey. Now, that ain’t no SUV, it’s a minivan, like a big box on wheels. But it’s good for hauling folks too, same as the Pilot, seven or eight people. I seen Mrs. Smith driving one of these, always packed full of kids and groceries. It’s probably easier to get in and out of than that big Pilot, especially for us older folks with creaky knees.
Now, some folks, they like that Honda CR-V. That’s a smaller one, not so big and clunky. But I heard tell they make some of them with a third row now too, but just a little one, for the little kids mostly. It’s a popular car, I see them all over town, maybe because it don’t guzzle gas so much, I don’t know. But if you got a whole passel of grandkids, maybe it ain’t the best choice, you know?
I heard someone talking about a Honda Passport too. They said it’s a good deal, but I ain’t seen too many of them around here. Maybe it’s like the Pilot, but I really can’t say for sure. You gotta go to the dealer and see for yourself, I guess. They’re always trying to sell you something, those fellas.
Other car companies, they make big cars too, you know. Like that VW Atlas, that’s a big one, and that Mazda CX-90, real fancy looking. But we’re talking about Hondas here, so I won’t get sidetracked.
If you’re looking for a used car, well, that’s a whole different story. You can find all sorts of cars for sale, but you gotta be careful, you know? Some folks, they’ll try to sell you a lemon, so you gotta be smart about it. Bring a friend who knows about cars, that’s what I always say.
So, if you need a Honda with that extra row of seats, the Pilot or the Odyssey is probably your best bet. The Pilot is tough and can tow things, the Odyssey is easier to get in and out of. The CR-V, well, that’s okay if you just got a couple of small grandkids to haul around. And that Passport, I dunno, go see for yourself.
That’s all I know about them Honda cars with the extra seats. I ain’t no car expert, just telling you what I seen and heard. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper.
