Alright, folks, let’s talk car seats. My kid is getting bigger, and it was time to ditch the old one and get a booster. After some digging around, I landed on the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Sport.

First off, this thing is supposed to last. They say it’s good for kids from 40 to 100 pounds. My little guy is right in that range, so perfect. I measured my son and the size of my car, and then I bought this thing.
What I really liked is that it’s a 2-in-1 deal. You can use it as a regular booster with the backrest, or you can take the back off and just use the bottom part. I figured that would be good for later on when he’s bigger and might not want the whole backrest thing. The instructions of installation are attached to the seat, I followed them step by step, which are very clear.
Setting it up was a breeze. It just uses the regular car seat belt, so no complicated installation. I Placed the seat in my car. My kid hopped in, and we adjusted the belt. It seemed pretty comfy for him, and he was happy as a clam, which is the main thing. He said he really likes it because it is very comfortable. I also sat on it, and touched it, yeah, it is cozy.
- It’s super easy to use. Just buckle them in with the regular seat belt.
- It transforms. You can take the back off when they get bigger.
- My kid seems to like it, so that’s a win.
Here’s the lowdown:
So far, so good with this Maxi-Cosi Rodi Sport. It does what it’s supposed to, and my son seems to be happy with it. If you’re in the market for a booster, you might want to check it out. This car seat really saves me a lot of troubles.
Anyway, that’s my two cents on this car seat. Hope this helps someone out there!
