Then, I saw a listing for a new 2024 Cullinan SUV in Arctic White. The price? A cool $486. I figured, why not go check it out? No harm in looking, right?
Diving Deeper
I started reading more about it. Turns out, 2024 was a big year for cars, and this new Rolls was one of the highlights. There was some talk about “ridiculously opulent,” but hey, that’s what you expect from a Rolls-Royce, isn’t it? I also noticed that the Cullinan mileage is 6.6 kmpl.
The Price Tag
Now, we all know these things aren’t cheap. The basic model starts around $391,750, and if you want the fancier Black Badge model, you’re looking at around $453,250. Yeah, it’s a lot, but for a car like this, it’s kinda what you’d expect. The starting price I saw for one was listed at $354,750. I can’t get over that price tag!
Test Drive
I managed to get in touch with someone at Rolls-Royce. Turns out it was Martin Fritsches, the departing CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America. We chatted a bit, and he set me up with a test drive. Let me tell you, this thing drives like a dream. I mean, it just floats over the road. And the power? Seemingly endless, they say. The car feels like it can go on forever.
I’ve had a blast driving the 2024 Rolls-Royce Cullinan. It’s definitely an experience. While I’m not sure I can afford one right now, it’s definitely on my wish list. And that Black Badge model? Ooh, boy, that’s the dream right there! Black Badge beckons the rule-breakers and those who dare. I might be one of them! I’m gonna keep saving up, and maybe one day, you’ll see me cruising around in one of these beauties. Who knows!
