Okay, so today I decided to tackle that “white motorcycle” project I’ve been putting off. You know, the one sitting in the garage, gathering dust and looking sad? Yeah, that one.

First, I gathered all my cleaning supplies. I’m talking buckets, sponges, soap, the whole nine yards. I even dug out that special motorcycle cleaner I bought ages ago and never used. Figured this was the perfect excuse.
Getting Started
- I started by giving the bike a good rinse with the hose. Just to get rid of the loose dirt and, you know, spiderwebs. It’s been a while.
- Then, I mixed up some soapy water and went to town with a sponge. Really scrubbed every inch of that thing.
- The white paint was surprisingly dirty! I mean, I knew it was dirty, but seeing all that grime come off was… satisfying, in a weird way.
After the soaping, I rinsed it all off again. Then came the motorcycle cleaner. I sprayed that stuff on, let it sit for a few minutes like the instructions said, and then wiped it down with a microfiber cloth.
The Final Touches
Honestly, the difference was amazing. The white paint was actually gleaming! I almost didn’t recognize it. It was like a brand new bike.
Finally, I grabbed some wax and polished the whole thing up. Just to give it that extra bit of shine and protection. Took a bit of elbow grease, but totally worth it.
So, yeah, that’s how I spent my day. Turning a dusty, forgotten motorcycle into a sparkling white beauty. Now it’s ready to ride, and I am super stoked about it. Feeling pretty good about finally crossing this project off my list!
