This year, that Cadillac, they got some new cars, I heard. Big ones, you know, SUVs, they call ’em. My grandson, he’s always talking ’bout these things. Says they’re the best. 2023, that’s the year, he keeps saying. 2023 Cadillac SUV models, all over the place!
So, this Cadillac, they got one called the Escalade. Big fancy name, ain’t it? Heard it’s been around, like, forever. My neighbor’s boy, he got an old one. Says it’s got all kinds of fancy stuff inside. Buttons and screens and whatnot. He’s always showing it off. Power, he says, it has lots of power. Good for showing off, I guess. But this 2023 one, I bet it’s even fancier.
Now, they got this other one, XT5, I think it is. Smaller, maybe. Not as big as that Escalade. Folks say it’s a good one, though. Not too pricey, they say. Good for regular folks, like me. But that Escalade, that’s for the rich folks, I reckon.
You see these Cadillac SUVs everywhere these days. Big and shiny. My old truck, it ain’t got nothing on these new things. They say these new ones, they drive themselves almost. Can you believe that? Don’t even need to steer!
My grandson, he showed me pictures on his phone. They got all these screens inside, bigger than my old TV! He says you can watch movies and play games and everything. Back in my day, we just had the radio. And that was fancy enough!

They say these new Cadillacs, they got all kinds of safety stuff, too. Cameras and beepers and all that. Suppose that’s good. Keeps you from bumping into things, I guess. But I learned to drive without all that. Just gotta pay attention, that’s all.
They say the XT5 is a good choice. Good value, they call it. Whatever that means. Probably means it ain’t as expensive as that other one. The big one. The Escalade. That’s the one everyone wants. It’s a status symbol or something, they say.
My grandson, he wants one of these new Cadillacs. He’s saving up his money. Says he’s gonna get one someday. Maybe he will. He’s a good boy. Works hard. Deserves something nice.
But these cars today, they’re just so complicated. Too many buttons. Too many screens. Give me a simple car, any day. Something I can understand. Something I can fix myself if it breaks.
These Cadillac SUVs, they’re all over the road now. Big and shiny. Taking up all the space. Makes it hard to see sometimes. Especially in my old truck. It sits so low to the ground.
Now in 2023, they are so many cars, I can’t tell which one is better. The best SUV is the one that you can pay for it, I think. If you are looking for a good car, you can consider Cadillac. But there are many other brands. You need to see by yourself.
Anyways, these new cars, these 2023 Cadillac SUV models, they’re something else. If you’re into that kind of thing, I guess they’re pretty neat. But me, I’m happy with my old truck. It’s all I need. And it’s paid for! That’s the best part.
