Alright, so I was digging around for a fun ride, and let me tell you, finding a sports car that’s both cool and won’t break the bank is a real challenge. I set my budget at 35 grand, tops. Started with a ton of online searching, reading reviews, you know, the usual stuff.

First, I looked at new cars. I mean, who doesn’t love that new car smell? But prices are crazy these days! Still, I checked out a few that caught my eye: the Mazda Miata, a Honda Civic Si, a Hyundai Elantra N, and a Subaru BRZ tS. They all looked pretty sweet and had some good power.
The Mazda Miata, it’s like the king of the budget sports cars. Tiny, yeah, but it looked like a blast to drive. Only two seats though, and barely any trunk space. So, not the most practical, but hey, it’s a sports car, right?
Then there’s the Honda Civic Si, Hyundai Elantra N and Subaru BRZ tS. They’ve got more room and are still under 35k. I read some more reviews and found that they are all pretty good in terms of performance.
But then I thought, “Why not look at used cars?” I could maybe get something even more awesome for the same price. So, I started browsing through used car listings, focusing on cars that were a few years old but still in great shape.
I compared a bunch of different models, looking at their performance, reliability, and what people were saying about them. It was a lot of work, but kind of fun too. I was imagining myself behind the wheel of each one.
Finally, I narrowed it down to a few top choices. It was tough, but I ended up with a list that I was really excited about. I haven’t bought one yet, but I’m getting close. It’s a big decision, so I’m taking my time to make sure I get the perfect car for me.
So, that’s where I’m at now. Still on the hunt, but I feel like I’m on the right track. Getting a cool sports car for under 35k is totally doable, you just gotta put in the work and be patient. And I will share more details later after I have tested them on the road.
