So, I needed a new car, and not just any car. I wanted something that felt luxurious but wouldn’t totally break the bank. That’s when I started looking into Certified Pre-Owned Lincolns. I mean, who doesn’t want to feel a little fancy, right?
First, I did some research online. I spent hours reading reviews and comparing models. It looks like Lincoln is pretty average when it comes to reliability and owner satisfaction, but I was willing to take that chance for a little luxury in my life. I was particularly interested in the SUVs, because I need something spacious for the family. It had to be a recent model, no older than 5 years, and preferably with low mileage, less than 60,000 miles. I found out that the MKX and MKZ were good options to consider.
Next, I started checking out local dealerships. I wanted to see these beauties in person. The first place I went to had a decent selection. They had a really nice 2020 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve. That thing was loaded! I even took it for a test drive, just around the block. It drove like a dream, smooth and quiet.
- Visited Several Dealerships: I didn’t stop at just one place. I hit up a few different Lincoln dealers in my area, just to see what they had.
- Test Drove Multiple Models: Besides the Nautilus, I also tried out a couple of Continentals, the Reserve and Select trims. They were nice, but the SUV just felt right for me.
- Checked CARFAX Reports: For every car I was seriously considering, I made sure to look up the CARFAX report. I was looking for ones that were accident-free and, if possible, only had one previous owner.
- Compared Prices: I did a lot of comparing to make sure I was getting a good deal. I even found a used Navigator in Lexington with an accident-free history and only one previous owner. The price difference was substantial, around $13,000.
After a few weeks of looking around and test driving, I finally made my decision. I ended up going with a Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln SUV.
Getting a Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln was definitely the right move for me. I got the luxury I wanted without spending a fortune. It was a bit of a process, but totally worth it in the end.
