Okay, so, I’ve been thinking about getting a car tent for my SUV for a while now. I do a lot of camping, and sometimes it’s just a pain to set up a regular tent. Plus, I like the idea of having a little more space and being able to use my car for storage and stuff. So, I finally decided to do it.

First, I searched on internet to get some basic ideas. I found that there were many kinds of tents in the market, so I picked some of them and did some comparisons.
Then, I did some research online to find a good deal. I looked at a few different websites, and I ended up finding a tent that looked like it would work well. It was a Napier Sportz SUV Tent, which is apparently a pretty popular brand. It was a little pricey, but I figured it would be worth it in the long run.
I ordered the tent, and it arrived a few days later. I was pretty excited to try it out, so I decided to set it up in my backyard first. The instructions were a little confusing, but I eventually figured it out. It took me about an hour to get everything set up, but it wasn’t too bad.
The tent itself is pretty spacious. It’s got a big main room, and then it attaches to the back of your SUV, so you can use the cargo area as an extra room or for storage. It’s also got a few windows and a door, so you can get some fresh air and light.
First Trip
I took the tent on its first real camping trip last weekend. I went to a local state park with a few friends. Setting up the tent at the campsite was a little easier than it was in my backyard, since I had some practice. My friends helped a little, too.
We spent the weekend hiking, fishing, and just hanging out around the campfire. The tent was great. It was nice to have a little extra space, and it was really convenient to be able to access the car from inside the tent.
My Thoughts
- Pros:
- Spacious
- Convenient
- Easy to set up (after the first time)
- Keeps the bugs out
- Cons:
- A little pricey
- Instructions could be clearer
Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. The car tent is a great addition to my camping gear. If you’re thinking about getting one, I’d definitely recommend it. Just be prepared to spend a little extra time setting it up the first time, and make sure you read the instructions carefully. Maybe even watch a video online if you can find one.
It is very important to keep it simple to make it more enjoyable. After all, it was the first try of mine, and I think more practice will make it much more easier.
I will try to use it more frequently. Maybe next time I will go to a further place and have a real long trip.
I did see some people talking about using a logo or something. I think maybe I can put my favorite logo on the tent. That sounds cool, doesn’t it?
