Alright, ladies, let’s talk helmets. I’ve been riding for a few years now, and finding a good helmet? It’s been a process. I mean, seriously, it shouldn’t be this hard!

Armed with my (probably inaccurate) measurements and a whole lot of online research, I went back to the shops. This time, I was on a mission. I ignored the colors and the fancy graphics and went straight for the helmets that claimed to be designed for women, or at least, had a wider range of sizes.
- First up: Some super-sporty helmet. Looked awesome, felt like my head was in a vice. Nope.
- Next: A modular helmet. Loved the idea of flipping up the front, but it felt…wobbly. And still too big, even in the smaller size.

After more tired. I just bought one, and it is very good. It’s comfortable, fits snugly without being too tight, and even has a little extra room in the back for my ponytail. I felt my head shape and tried many different types, then I got the perfect one.
So, my advice? Don’t give up! Finding the right motorcycle helmet is a pain, but it’s worth it for your safety and comfort. Measure your head (maybe get a professional to do it!), try on lots of helmets, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. And most importantly, don’t settle for a helmet that doesn’t feel right.
