Okay, so I was totally stumped by this crossword clue today: “old dodge sports car.” I’m not a huge car guy, but I like to think I know a thing or two. I racked my brain, thinking of all the classic Dodges I could remember. Charger? Nope. Challenger? Nah. Viper? Too modern.
I started by listing out some possibilities in my notebook, just to get the ideas flowing:
- Coronet?
- Dart?
- Polara?
None of those felt quite right. They were more like…family cars, not really sports cars. I was about to give up and, you know, discreetly peek at the answer online (don’t judge!), when it hit me. I need to look from a different way.
Digging Deeper
Then I grabbed my phone and did a quick search. It turned out that there’re some possible options, that I should try those shorter, older names.
*! The answer was right there. It all made sense now! I filled in the crossword grid, feeling pretty darn smug.
