Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a new car, and one of the things I really wanted was a heads-up display (HUD). I think they’re super cool and also really helpful for keeping your eyes on the road. So, I started doing some research to see which SUVs actually offer this feature.

First, I made a list of all the SUV brands I could think of. You know, the usual suspects: Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, BMW, Mercedes, etc.
Then, I started digging. I spent hours going through different automaker websites, reading reviews, and watching YouTube videos. I quickly realized that finding which SUVs specifically had HUDs wasn’t always easy. Some websites would mention it, but others wouldn’t. It was a bit of a pain, to be honest.
My Research Process:
- Checked Manufacturer Websites: This was the most obvious starting point, but it wasn’t always straightforward. Sometimes the information was buried in the specifications pages.
- Read Reviews: Websites and magazines often review cars, and they usually mention if a car has a HUD.
- Watched YouTube Videos: Video reviews are great because you can actually see the HUD in action.
- Looked at Online Forums: Car forums are full of people who are passionate about cars, and they often have threads discussing specific features like HUDs.
After all this work, I compiled my findings into a Simple notes . It wasn’t pretty, but it had the information I needed: which SUVs had HUDs as standard, which ones offered it as an option, and which ones didn’t have it at all.
I learned that some brands, like Mazda and Hyundai, are starting to offer HUDs on more of their models, which is pretty cool. It used to be a feature you’d only find on luxury cars, but now it’s becoming more common.
It was a bit of a slog, but I finally got the information I needed. Now I can narrow down my SUV search to the ones that actually have the heads-up display I want. Next step: test drives!
