Okay, so I’ve been wanting to pimp out my kid’s ride-on car for a while. You know, make it a little faster, a little more… awesome. I finally decided to dive in and upgrade the battery and motor – basically, turn it into a power wheels motorcycle. Here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First, I took a good look at the existing setup. It was a pretty standard 12V system, with a basic motor. Nothing fancy. I figured I’d need a more powerful battery and a motor that could handle the extra juice.
I spent some time watching some videos, just trying to make sure I don’t mess this up,and then I started to order some parts.
The Parts
- Battery: I went with a 24V battery. Doubling the voltage should definitely give it some extra kick.
- Motor: I found a 24V motor that looked like it would * important is to choose the fit size.
- Wiring and Connectors: Always important! I grabbed some heavy-duty wire and connectors to handle the increased power. Don’t want any meltdowns.
- Fuse:Safety first!
The Process
*!I took apart and remove the oringinal battery and motor.
* I put the new motor inside, and connected the wires.
* most important thing is to put a fuse between the battery and motor.
4.I secured everything with zip ties and electrical tape.
The Result
I flipped the switch, and man, this thing took off! Seriously, it was way faster than before. My kid was absolutely thrilled.
It zipped around the yard like a little *!
It’s way more fun to drive now, and it feels like a real upgrade.
I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out.
