Okay, so I’ve been meaning to share this for a while now, and today seems like the perfect day. It’s about my recent hunt for a motorcycle in Iloilo, Philippines. It was quite the adventure, let me tell you.
I started my search online, of course. That’s where we all start these days, right? I typed in “motorcycle for sale in Iloilo Philippines” into the search bar and hit enter. Tons of results popped up. I started browsing through online marketplaces, local listings, and even Facebook groups. Facebook Marketplace, surprisingly, had a good number of listings. Lots of used bikes, some new ones, different brands like Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki, as well as MotorStar and NWOW.
Then, I decided to check out some local dealerships. I heard about this place called Motortrade in Iloilo City, so I went there to see what they had. Motortrade, as far as I know, is a major dealer in the Philippines. They had a pretty decent selection of brand new bikes, but they were a bit out of my budget. They are committed to providing service and support, but it is not what I need.
- There were cruisers.
- There were scooters.
- There were even quad bikes.
After that, I visited a few other smaller shops around town. The prices varied a lot, from as low as ₱19,800 for a brand new NWOW GC10 to over ₱400,000 for some of the high-end models. It seemed like a lot of people were selling their used bikes because they were upgrading or just didn’t need them anymore. Some were in great condition, others, not so much.
I almost gave up, to be honest. It was exhausting going from place to place, checking out bikes, and haggling with sellers. Plus, I wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal and not some lemon that would break down on me in a week. I almost bought a used one, a nice-looking red one but then thought twice about it. I realized maybe it’s not worth it in the long run, because it’s used. I needed it for everyday commute, so I needed it to be reliable.
Finally, after weeks of searching, I found it. A brand-new, shiny motorcycle that was just perfect for me. It wasn’t too expensive, it was fuel-efficient, and it looked great. I ended up buying it from a small dealership just outside the city. The owner was a nice guy, and he even threw in a free helmet and some other goodies.
So yeah, that’s my story. It took some time and effort, but I finally got my motorcycle. Now I can zip around town and not have to worry about traffic. It’s been a real game-changer. If you’re ever in Iloilo and looking for a motorcycle, don’t give up! There are plenty of options out there, you just have to be patient and persistent. And always do your research.
