Alright, so I’ve been eyeing this Harley Davidson Fat Boy for a while now. It’s just a beast, you know? Finally pulled the trigger and got myself one. Let me tell you, it’s been a ride, literally and figuratively.

First off, let’s talk about the price. These things ain’t cheap. I was browsing around, checking different dealers and some used ones online. You’re looking at anywhere between, say, $15,000 to $22,000, depending on whether it’s brand new, the year it was made, and how much it’s been ridden. I ended up forking over about $18,000 for mine. Yeah, it hit the wallet, but hey, you only live once, right?
Now, getting it home was another story. The dealer was cool and all, but I was itching to get on that thing. Once I got the keys, I fired it up, and man, that engine roar! It’s like music to my ears. Took it slow at first, just getting a feel for it. It’s a heavy machine, but it handles surprisingly well. You feel every bit of that power under you, but it’s a smooth kind of power.
I’ve been cruising around town, turning heads everywhere I go. People stop and stare, give you the thumbs up. It’s a good feeling. And let me tell you, this bike is solid. It’s built like a tank. Feels like it’ll last forever. I heard that it’s built with a lot of steel. Lots of chrome too. Shiny!
Here are some of the things I’ve been digging so far:
- The sound: Like I said, that engine is a symphony of power.
- The look: It’s just badass. Pure American muscle on two wheels. Reminds me of the Terminator 2 movie I watched before.
- The ride: Smooth, powerful, and surprisingly comfortable for a big bike.
It’s still early days, but I’ve been having a blast. I’ve been taking it out every chance I get, even if it’s just for a short ride around the block. I’ve even started planning a longer road trip with some buddies. Can’t wait to really open it up on the highway.
Is it worth the money?
For me, absolutely. It’s more than just a bike; it’s a statement. It’s a feeling. If you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it. Just be prepared to open up that wallet and be ready for the ride of your life.
