Okay, so, I’ve been itching to get into this whole overlanding thing, and a big part of that is getting a roof tent for my SUV. Let me tell you, it’s been a journey.

Plus, it’s great for letting some fresh air in without getting eaten alive by bugs. It just expands the living space into the vehicle.
Installation Adventure
Getting it set up was a bit of a learning curve. I followed the instructions as best I could, but let’s just say there were a few moments where I was scratching my head. My wife gave me a hand in setting up at the first time, it took us an hour to fully install the tent on my car. Finally, we made it, but I really hope next time we could spend less time on it.
The Real Test
I finally took it out for a spin last weekend. I drove up to the mountains, found a nice quiet spot, and set up camp. Let me tell you, it was pretty sweet. The tent worked out great, it really could stand strong against the wind. I had plenty of space, it was comfortable, and the views were amazing.
Would I Recommend It?
Honestly, yeah! It’s not perfect, but for the price and the convenience, it’s a solid choice. Especially if you’re just starting out like me. It’s definitely made me even more excited about future adventures. Just remember, that every model is not suitable for every car, make sure you have enough research on it!
