Okay, here’s a story about how I got my hands on a 2010 Cadillac Escalade SUV. It’s a bit of a journey, so buckle up.

I’ve always had a thing for big, comfy SUVs, and the Cadillac Escalade has always been at the top of my list. I mean, who wouldn’t want to cruise around in one of those? It was a bit of a dream of mine to own one, so when I came into a bit of extra money, I thought, “Why not?”
So I started my search. I spent hours online, scouring every car website you could think of, comparing prices, and looking at pictures. At first, I just went around every website that I could find online to compare prices.
I narrowed down my search to the 2010 model because, let’s be honest, newer models are just way out of my budget. Plus, the 2010 model still has that classic Escalade look that I love. I found a few options in my area, around Saint Louis, MO, and the prices were all over the place, ranging from about $7,000 to a whopping $34,000, depending on the condition and mileage. I got a little excited at the thought of getting a luxury SUV for under $10k, but I was also a bit nervous, because what kind of a used Escalade could you get for so cheap? I was kind of picky too, I wanted to get the AWD version, but also wanted to get the best deal possible, so I wasn’t limiting myself at this point in my search. I kept looking around, and found another listing for an Escalade Hybrid 4WD, I didn’t even know they made those! I read through the listings, and I found that there were a few different versions of the 2010 Escalade available, such as the ESV Premium and Luxury trims, and I wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting into.
After test-driving a few, I finally found the one. It was a beautiful 2010 Escalade, in great condition, with relatively low mileage, and the price was just right, about $8,900. After doing some more digging online, I found that this was on the cheaper end of what these cars usually go for, so I was pretty happy with myself at this point. After a bit of haggling with the dealer, I managed to knock a few hundred bucks off the price, a discount of around $11 or $12. I think I got a pretty good deal!
Here’s what I did:
- Searched online for 2010 Cadillac Escalades for sale.
- Compared prices and found options ranging from $7,000 to $34,000.
- Narrowed down my search to models in my area (Saint Louis, MO).
- Test-drove a few different Escalades.
- Found a 2010 Escalade in great condition for $8,900.
- Negotiated the price down a bit.
It’s Mine!
I’ve been driving it for a while now, and I have to say, I’m loving every minute of it. It’s such a smooth ride, and it’s got all the bells and whistles you could ever want. I feel like a king on the road!
So yeah, that’s the story of how I ended up with my 2010 Cadillac Escalade. It was a bit of a process, but it was definitely worth it. If you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it! Just be prepared to do your research and shop around for the best deal.
