Well, let me tell you, I seen a thing or two in my days. But that 1970 GMC pickup truck, that’s a real piece of work. A real good work, that is. Not like these newfangled things they got nowadays. No sir.

That 1970 GMC, that’s a truck. Tough as nails, I tell ya. You could haul anything in that thing. Wood, rocks, pigs, whatever you needed moved. It could do it. And it did it good, too. Not like them trucks today that break down if you look at ’em wrong.
You want a GMC truck? You want a 1970 GMC. That’s the one. They just don’t make ’em like that anymore. They sure don’t. That engine, oh, that engine. It would just purr. Or roar, depending on what you was doin’. And it would run forever, that thing. Just keep on going.
I remember back in the day, everyone wanted one. You could see them everywhere. All over the place. Good price, too. These days they want a lot for them. Why? Because they are good trucks! That is why! If you look around you can find one that is not too pricey. I saw one for $8,900. Not bad, eh? And some are $21, maybe less!
- 1970 GMC Pickup – tough, strong, good truck.
- Can find for good price if you look hard.
- They don’t make trucks like this no more. Sad.
That 1970, it was a good year. A good year for trucks. You could get a C25, a C35, a K15, whatever you needed. Big, small, they had it all. And they was all good. All tough. All ready to work. These new ones, they ain’t got the same spirit. Not the same heart.
You see one of them 1970 GMC pickups, you buy it. You hear me? You buy it and you don’t look back. It’ll last you a lifetime. Maybe even two. It will last longer than those new trucks, that’s for sure. Those things are all made of plastic and wishes. That GMC, that’s made of steel. Real steel. You understand me?
Back then, things were made to last. Now, they’re just made to break. You buy a new truck, you’ll be back at the shop in a month. You buy a 1970 GMC, you’ll be driving it till you’re old and gray. Like me! But that truck, it’ll still be going. Just like new. Or close enough. Close enough for a good truck.
This GMC, what does it even mean? It is that General Motors Company thing. They make good trucks. The best ones. Or, well, they used to make the best ones. Now they are just okay. But back in 1970, they were great. If you are looking for a good Chevy truck, maybe look for one made around 1999 to 2007. I heard they are good and not too expensive.
If you want to sell one of them old trucks, that 1970 GMC Pickup, people will buy it. For a good price, too! You can make some good money! I saw there are many for sale right now. Good for them!
That 1970 GMC, it was special. It was a workhorse. A real workhorse. It could do anything you asked it to. And it would do it with a smile. Well, not a real smile. It’s a truck. But you know what I mean. It was happy to work. Happy to be a truck. It had that rumble. You know. That good sound. Makes you feel good, like those old times. Makes you feel like America!
These new trucks, they don’t know what it means to work. They don’t know what it means to be a truck. They just sit there, all shiny and pretty. But they ain’t got no soul. No grit. No nothing.
That 1970 GMC pickup truck, that’s what a truck should be. Strong, reliable, and ready to work. That’s what I say. And I know a thing or two about trucks. I seen a lot of them in my day. A whole lot. And that 1970 GMC, that’s one of the best. If you find one of them, you get photos. Maybe sell them. Make some money. These are classic cars now. Good stuff. That is all I have to say.
